Introduction: To Making A Horror Movie Trailer

Our group consist of four student; Harold Kuenyefu, Ife Adeyemi, Charisma Olajuyigbe, Ryan Roche. We will be working together to create a horror teaser trailer, horror poster and magazine front cover.

We would be using a range of equipment to create our coursework. These will range from digital to analogue equipment.
For filming we will be using the Canon EOS 7D, a Vinten Pro 5 Tripod and a Track. In addition to that, we will be using extra lighting to create further effects such as a silhouette and extra shadows. Creating a silhouette and extra shadows will add to the conventions of a horror movie which can be backed up by low key lighting.

To be able to create an effective horror trailer, we have to film find an appropriate location fitting the theme of our horror trailer. The locations would change from a classroom corridor to outside of the school building but we will suitably stay within the school environment.

Make up is an essential in the making of our teaser trailer as without it we would not be able to create a successful horror teaser trailer. However, prior to filming we will run makeup test ensure that non of the members of our cast is not allergic to the chemicals or substances contained within the product.

Actors would be from members of our group. Ryan would be the mental janitor who has access to every room in the school and he abuses his powers by abducting and torturing students. Ife and Charisma would be the victims who were unfortunately abducted.

Any progress made within this project will be posted on this blog.
