Preparation Of Taking Photos.

Harold opperating the lamp, setting it up in a position to get the required result. Also Harold opperating the camera, doing some test shots for the poster.

We have proceeded to taking photos for our film poster. in order to get the desired shot we took a number of photos, all taking turns operating the camera. We decided we would like our poster to be in silhouette form as this adds to the mysteriousness of the poster . In order to achieve this we had to make use of the lighting equipment. We had to turn off all the sorrounding lights and close the curtains so that only the source of light was from the lamp. In order to create the silhouette effect I (ryan) had to stand in front of the lamp and we had to test a number of shots to get the lighting right for this effect.

We switched roles frequently so everybody could have a chance to use the camera. This enabled us to
notice who was best when using the camera and is able to take the best shots.

After a number of shots we were able to get the desired result to use for our horror poster

Progress Update 1/1/2010

I can start off by saying...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

the festive season is over.
During the course of this half term holiday I have been doing plenty of editing regarding our Horror Movie Trailer. It is half done.
The following screenshots were taken during editing of the movie trailer.
This is one of the intro shots. I have added a soft colour grading and a blurred marquee around the shot to give it a soft look before the real horror starts.

Here is the shot where I added the 'Bad TV' effect.

Alot of dark colour grading to add the horrorful

One of the titles added saying the date and a little catchphrase
